MFGN role: My current role as bioinformatics coordinator is to lead the installation, maintenance and support of all issues pertaining to the computational component of the bioinformatics core as well as associated websites.This alslo includes the design, installation, maintainence and operation of five Access Grid Nodes to further facilitate communication for the MFGN. I am also responsible for supporting technical aspects of projects developed and implemented by the bioinformatics core director. Anouther responsibility is the design and coding of custom software for bioinformatics research conducted by the MFGN.
